Neighborhoods · Lake Oswego
Buying a home in Lake Oswego.
A city between Portland and West Linn, built around Oswego Lake, with a walkable downtown on Lakewood Bay and parks along the Willamette River.

- County
- Mostly Clackamas, with parts in Multnomah and Washington
- Transit
- TriMet buses via the Lake Oswego Transit Center downtown
- Highways
- I-5, I-205, and OR-43 (State Street)
Homes you'll find.
Homes range from lakefront houses to neighborhoods with lake easements, which give residents access to shared docks and swim areas. Away from the water you’ll find mid-century ranches in areas like Lake Grove and Westlake, older cottages in the First Addition neighborhood near downtown, and condos and townhomes in Mountain Park.
Access to Oswego Lake is private and tied to specific properties, so on every lake-area listing I check which easement, if any, comes with the house and what the dues are.
Getting around.
Most people drive. OR-43 follows the Willamette north into downtown Portland, Kruse Way connects to I-5 on the west side, and I-205 is a short drive south. TriMet buses run from the Lake Oswego Transit Center downtown into Portland.

Buying in Lake Oswego with me.
Next door, West Linn adds riverfront parks and the historic Willamette district, and I help buyers there too. Prices and inventory change month to month, so text me for current numbers on the homes and streets you're watching. I'll pull recent sales and tell you what I'd offer.
I describe places, housing, and amenities. I do not steer buyers toward or away from any neighborhood based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, or any other protected class.
